WHAT IS THE BOOK OF LIFE?

WHAT IS THE BOOK OF LIFE?

Pray and see what the Holy Bible actually says:

EXODUS 32  32 "Yet now, if You will forgive their sin — but if not, l pray, blot me out of Your book which You have written.”

33 And the LORD said to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

PSALM 56  8 You number my wanderings; put my tears into Your bottle; [are they] not in Your book?

PSALM 69  28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

PSALM 139  16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.  And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when [as yet there were] none of them.

DANIEL 12  1 ….And at that time your people shall be delivered, every one who is found written in the book.

LUKE 10  20 "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."

PHILIPPIANS 4  3 And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names [are] in the Book of Life.

REVELATION 3  5 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”

REVELATION 13  8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

REVELATION 17  8 "The beast that you saw was, and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go to perdition. And those who dwell on the earth will marvel, whose names are not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world, when they see the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

REVELATION 20  12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is [the Book] of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

REVELATION 20  15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

REVELATION 21  27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

ARE THERE CONSEQUENCES FOR OUR LIVES?

ARE THERE CONSEQUENCES FOR OUR LIVES?

Pray and read the following and see what the Holy Bible actually says:

PSALM 10  13 Why do the wicked renounce God?  He has said in his heart, "You will not require an account."

14 But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, to repay it by Your hand.  The helpless commits himself to You; You are the helper of the fatherless.

15 Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man; seek out his wickedness until You find none.

PSALM 28  4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors; give them according to the work of their hands; render to them what they deserve.

PSALM 62  12 Also to You, O Lord, [belongs] mercy; for You render to each one according to his work.

PROVERBS 24  12 If you say, "Surely we did not know this," Does not He who weighs the hearts consider [it?]  He who keeps your soul, does He [not] know [it?]  And will He [not] render to [each] man according to his deeds?

PROVERBS 24  29 Do not say, "I will do to him just as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work."

ECCLESIASTES 12  14 For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

JEREMIAH 17  10 I, the LORD, search the heart, [I] test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.

JEREMIAH 32  19 '[You are] great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes [are] open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his

MATTHEW 12  35 "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.  36 "But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.  37 For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned."

MATTHEW 16  27 "For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.”

ROMANS 2  1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.  2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things.  3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?  4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and long-suffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who "will render to each one according to his deeds". [in] 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8 but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.  11 For there is no partiality with God.

12 For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law 13 (for not the hearers of the law are just in the sight of God, but the doers of the law will be justified; 14 for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, 15 who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness,

and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them 16 in the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ, according to my gospel.

ROMANS 14  12 So then each of us shall give account of himself to God.

2 CORINTHIANS 5  9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him.  10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.  11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.

1 PETER 4  5 They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.  6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.  Serving for God's Glory

7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.  8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins.

JUDE 1  14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, "Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, 15 "to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against

Him.”

REVELATION 2  23 "I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts.  And I will give to each one of you according to your works.”

REVELATION 22  12 "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward [is] with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”

LET THE WORD OF CHRIST DWELL

Let the word of Christ

  dwell in you richly

In all wisdom, teaching

  and admonishing one another

In psalms and hymns

  and spiritual songs

Singing with grace

  in your hearts

    to the Lord

(Verse 1)

Has the thief

  broken in your house

    and stolen all that’s good?

Took advantage of

  the ignorance of

    the truth you

      misunderstood?

The lack of knowledge of

  the Word of God

    will keep you in defeat

Cause it’s only when

  you know the truth

    that the truth…

      will set you free

(Chorus)

Let the word of Christ

  dwell in you richly

In all wisdom, teaching

  and admonishing one another

In psalms and hymns

  and spiritual songs

Singing with grace

  in your hearts

    to the Lord

(Verse 2)

The thoughts of God

  are higher than

    the thoughts of any man

The ways of God

  are greater than

    anyone understands

His Words are like

  a lamp that lights

    the pathway for my feet

His judgments truly faithful…

  and righteous altogether

(Chorus)

Let the word of Christ

  dwell in you richly

In all wisdom, teaching

  and admonishing one another

In psalms and hymns

  and spiritual songs

Singing with grace

  in your hearts

    to the Lord

(Ending)

In psalms and hymns

  and spiritual songs

Singing with grace

  in your hearts

    to the Lord
