We don't need some dumbed down
Godspell clown, mamby-pamby Jesus!
We need the real deal,
our life and death shield
Who bruised His heel;
while crushing satan's head
We don't need somebody's
homogenized, pasteurized
and sanitized sweet little baby Jesus
We need the genuine One,
the one and only Son
Son of God and Son of Man
We don't need a politically corrected,
philosophically dissected
culturally corrupted Christ
We need the soul saving sole way
to the Father through
His advocating life
We don't need a dispensated,
regulated, abrogated
nor "abbreviated" Savior
We need the living Messiah,
our hearts' true desire
With His blessings that never expire
saving us from hell's Hades fire
We don't need Him
traditionally diluted,
religiously convoluted,
His marvelous perfections substituted
We all need the eternal solution,
our sins' only absolution,
iniquity's abolition,
Mount Calvary's full fruition
bringing us to true contrition
transforming hearts
and mind conditions
WE ALL NEED THE REAL JESUSI
